- Mustard
- Fried onion
- Catsup
- Melted butter
- Trig’s Smokehouse Top Dogs
Preparation
Make the Basic Biscuit Dough and roll it out 1/4 inch thick. Cut it into oblong pieces, the length of a Trig’s Smokehouse Top Dog and 3 to 4 inches wide. Spread each piece with mustard, and add a dab of fried onion, and a bit of catsup. Place a Top Dog on each piece of dough and roll it up. Pinch the dough together around the hot dog.
Arrange these rolls on a buttered baking sheet, brush them well with melted butter and bake at 400°F until the dough is crisp and brown and the Top Dog is heated through. This will take about 20 minutes.
